UPDATE
The following is per Kabir Javed:
Hi,
This is Kabir from the post on Bayshore Tigers. The SSPX are pictures that were taken on the end where one of our bowlers slipped and fell. [A]s you can see the whole pitch is filled with mud. [I] also want you to keep in mind the color of the carpet we use, which is usually light brown and here its mud color. The Bay1-3 pics represent the other end. It shows your the color of the pitch with little bit of mud.

This [following] picture should sum up my whole point. It is a puddle of mud, right next to the pitch. Now, tell me if this is normal and how much rain do you need to create something like this. If this isn’t enough to prove my point then I am open to any judgment.

Wow:
Another pathetic decision making by umpires and the libertycricket alike. This is what we call retarded journalism, where facts are brought in light after the decisions have been made. I play for bayshore tigers and this is exactly what happened.
1. it rained during the first inning and after 5 minutes of rain, the umpires asked for the covers to be brought in. since, Liberty has only spinners, for them its easier to bowl on a slippery pitch and even their only pacer, decided to spin the bowl for his second spell because of the bad condition of the pitch.
2. When we came to bowl, it started raining again, however, the umpires decided to let the play to continue and after 45 minutes of rain, the pitch condition got so bad that it was impossible for any pacer to continue bowling and one of our bowlers actually slipped and fell on the pitch. We weren’t going to let any of our players to get injured, especially after we know that this game doesn’t even count.
to me, this was the stupidity of the umpires for not stopping the play during Bayshore Tigers bowling inning and letting the pitch to become a puddle of water. We took pictures as a proof and until libertycricket.com sees those pictures, you should stop making these accusing headlines. Look at the whole picture before you come to a conclusion. As for the umpires, you are suppose to be the most experienced men on the field and your decision making impacts the game substantially. if the umpires make retarded decisions, then this game is doomed.
If you need help then please let me know,

@Kabir
please e-mail in your pictures admin at wicricnews . com or admin at libertycricket . com
I will post them in the article.
If you feel the website is biased and won’t upload your pictures you always have the option to upload the pics to a public host such as tinypic.com and then link them in your comments.
Cheers!
To Danesh:
I will upload the pictures but in return I want you to add a headline explaining the amateur status of our “experienced umpires”. I am not suggesting that the website is biased, however, I want you to hear both sides of the story before coming to such harsh conclusion. Bayshore Tigers have lost many games in past and we always gave the teams the respect they deserved. We never walked away from any game even when facing loss. The situation here has nothing to do with losing, but the safety of our players, which we wont compromise over anything, especially when the umpires have no clue how to make a sensible decision. I will contact my manager tomorrow and you will have your pictures by the end of the week.
Kabir
The umpires said that the pitch was good enough to play but Bayshore refuse. I am just reporting a fact. As for the umpiring it self I wount go into that.
sounds like a case of sour grapes, maybe bayshore is hanging out with east bank these days
@wonderers
Stop wondering around and wait for the facts.
@Admin
I feel like even if I give you the pictures, you are still going to believe the words of the umpires. This needs to be stopped. We have to criticize whats wrong because criticism is the mother of innovation. This is one the reasons why, EACA is stuck at the same place for past 25 years. Its almost like we don’t want to look ahead and take this league to the next level, which is professional cricket in New York. I hope this case brings a breakthrough and ultimately lead to better decision making from the umpires. I would also like to point out that there are some umpires and teams alike that hold some biases against other teams, but I realize the fact that I need to have good hard evidence to prove this point.
Once again, the reason behind this isn’t to point any fingers, like my friend “wanderers” was trying to do, but to sit down and have a talk like adults so we can solve a problem. VERY SIMPLE
KABIR
@kabir
feel free to email us the pics…we’ll put them up.
every story has 2 sides. if you’d like to include a verbal statement along with the pics, send it as well
I hope you got the pics. I sent it at admin@libertycricket.com
i saw them…i’ll post them up later
thanks
Can some one from liberty who was present at the said match give their point of view on the condition of the run up and landing area, and why the umpires wanted to continue the game ?
nice pictures form Mr. Kabir, healthy debate is a good sign.
Healthy debate my axx….bayshore dem whiners, always xcuse making, payin dem ppl like seonarine to play and misbehave behaviour on da field. Dis not new wid em, but still losers after dem imports.
I did not play in that match but I can definitely tell you that we bowled to Golden Arrow in conditions worse than what appears in those pictures after rain interrupted our game.
There were ankle deep pools of water in the outfield in several places and our bowlers had to dodge mud in their run-ups.
The umpires told us we had to play and we played.
@ Danesh
Can you please prove your point by bringing evidence? I can tell several stories about the discrimination that goes on in this league but unfortunately I can’t prove it, so I wont even bother going there.
@ Lastmanstanding
Yes, we are trying to rebuild our team and we will show healthy results in next couple of years. Compare to last year, we definitely made lots of progress and we will continue to do so until we become a winning team. As far as whining is concern, I don’t know where you are getting that information from, we were simply trying to protect the health of our players and saving them for a tournament which we will be hosting soon. Regards to your accusation, please try to use some sense because it seems like you were either drunk or on something crazy when you wrote this.
Have a good life Mr.
Bayshore enough about this game. Do u have scores from your Q/Final match?
@Kabir
i started off my last comment with “I can definitely TELL you…”
anyways like the ‘admin’ said… this is a past issue.
It would be very much valued if you team can e-mail over scores and game pictures from your games. Maybe a few of those issues you are mentioning can be highlighted in your game reports so there is some sort of doccumentation of it.
Cheers!
which game? the one with victory? I don’t know ask the umpires, o wait… they forgot to show up for that game.
whining like a lil one rasta frock wearing woman
@lastmanstanding
buddy you are so drunk that you gave the description of your girl by mistake lol go to rehab Mannn
well seems like todays youngsters have no respect for the game. If umpire decision right or wrong is not final, you show disrespect to the game and are no cricketer.
rehab here i come…..but da krab man stop whining like lil school going lil girl and play to win da game not to save pretty boyz for some second tournament
Any comments on umpires not showing up to our game or was that our fault too?
I think the umpires didnt show up is not good, but they did not show up for both teams, so that evens it out.
In addition to that since the umpires didnt show up, it doesnt give you the chance to complain that they cheated.
Now without that excuse did you win or lose the gamae?
Its not my job to post up the scores. My job is to play the game because I am a player. I also want to make sure that I am given the same opportunity as other teams in the league because I pay the same amount of money as them to play in this league. My game with victory was fair and I appreciate their cooperation, and as far as the umpiring is concern, their decision making needs to be questioned just like my criticism of the umpires is being questioned in front of your eyes. Unless you have some under the table deals going on with the umpires, give them the same heat as you have given me and I was just giving you my side of the story.
@ Patheticmanstanding
you must love lil boys and girls…what you becoming a priest? haha
arite guys…i did this because i wanted this to be fair….i think we should act like the grown men we are and let this go. both sides have presented their cases…it’s up to you to now derive your own conclusions from the statements that were given.
Bayshore tiger should be very happy because the dont have to play any more 40 overs game this year.
So they dont have to come up with any so execuses why not to play.
