  1. In this game the average run per over determines the winner. It is evident that Bklyn-Queens had the better run rate over Ramdeen. But it must be noted that the run rate for Ramdeen must be calculated on the 20 overs that they batted ( not on the 6 overs as stated in this article) By the way, why was 6 overs mentioned, anyway.
The rule for calculating the run rate is the runs scored divided by the overs batted. If the second side has batted 5 overs then it is a game and their run rate is calculated on the number of overs they batted. So Ramdeen’s run rate is 178 divided 20 which is 8.9 runs per over. Bklyn-Queens batted 7.2 overs and scored 65 runs. Their run rate is 65 divided by 8 (due to the fact that they batted 7.2 overs) Their average runs per over is 8.12. According to my calculations and formula Ramdeen SC is the winner of this game and not Bklyn-Queens.
I would suggest that clubs and league officials do over their math.

Sam you are correct. The umpiring is so inconsistent in the US. A lot of the umpires are not aware of the new rules in the game and as a result the game have to suffer.
