Cricket fans, our community has been losing lots of people as of late. It is with sadness again that I report the death of Wallace Kallicharran. Wallace was the brother of former WI & Guyana batsman Alvin Kallicharan and Guyana & USA player Derek Kallicharan. Wallace passed away in Guyana yesterday at the age of 57. Wake and Funeral Arrangements are being made in Guyana.

My prayers and thoughts goes out to the Kallicharran family, a couple of brothers and Nephews have entertained us on the cricket field for many years …Peace and may Wallace have a resting place with the great Almighty

My condolences go out to Derek, his siblings, and the entire family on the passing of his brother, Wallace. It is very hard when a loved one passed on, but we have to put our trust in God that he will help us to bear our sorrow. May he rest in God's eternal bliss.
